Get to know about the history, livings and culture of the fishermen in 4 hours by Joining fisherman in their magnificent traditional linked boats with their spectacular songs; paddle with them heading to middle of the lake. This fishing activity offers “Isambaza night fishing” and guided boat trips in Lake Kivu by fishermen who sustain their lives by fishing. Isambazas are tiny fishes; caught using a widespread net and three large boats connected to each other. The use of pumping lamps to attract fishes and panoramic lights that reflect on Lake Kivu makes the night fishing activity an amazing experience.

Additionally, you may simply participate in fishing in the early morning and observe how they sell the captured fish at markets.
